The Silky Katanaboy 500-5 is a very large folding saw. It will bring hard to reach branches within reach. The folding saw is named after the Japanese Katana sword, partially because its unique blade length of 50 cm. Like the Katana the Katanaboy has a soft metal core. As a result it is very flexible and properly takes hold of the wood. The hard outside of the blade ensures that the blade will stay sharp for a long time.
The Silky blade needs to be kept clean to make sure it stays in great shape. Resin dissolves when it comes into contact with olive oil which makes it an effective, environmentally-friendly product you can use to clean the blade. Please note: aggressive detergents can damage the rubber handle.
