Avispa is Spanish for Wasp and this slide lock/crossbar lock folding knife is an aptly named large brother to the awesome Zancudo folder. The Avispa AUTO was also designed by the survival experts over at ESEE Knives, Mike Perrin and Jeff Randall, and produced by Blue Ridge Knives. It features the same drop point blade shape but in a larger, more capable 3.5" size. With this larger blade, they needed a larger handle, and what better knife platform to go with than the awesome Ontario Rat 1. It's a very ergonomic handle that's great for tactical applications and comfortable during prolonged use. The only knock on the Ontario Rat 1 was that it was always a liner lock. Well, wait no longer - the Avispa AUTO is here! The absence of the extra handle scale has produced an extremely slim profile and easy-to-carry knife with the Avispa.
The pocket clip is reversible to all four positions and the knife weighs in at 5.36 ounces.

ESEE Knives začala v roku 1997 ako cvičná operácia prežitia v Peru s názvom Randall’s Adventure & Training.
